2013 HEALTHCARE CONFERENCEA small group of students had the opportunity to represent the studio in the 2013 Chicago Healthcare Symposium. Dr. Wayne Ruga invited several architecture schools, including Kansas State University, to learn about generative space and participate in a student healthcare charrette and to then present their findings at the conference. The three students worked in conjunction with the studio professor Susanne Siepl-Coates as well as several professionals, including Bryan Finnegan from RKTL, who offered their time and facilities for the conference. Overall, it was a very rewarding week of touring several firms, meeting several incredible people and enjoying Chicago’s wonderful architecture.
